Getting started

Create your account

Sign up with your work email and create your organization. Choose how you want to work: process meetings yourself, or have us do it with full service. You can switch from full service to processing meetings yourself later in Settings.

Practice on the sample meeting

Your dashboard comes with a sample meeting: a real Board of Adjustment meeting, already transcribed, with a draft of the minutes. A short tour walks you through it. You name a speaker, fix a block tagged to the wrong person, mark a missed motion and look over the draft.

Nothing on the sample meeting is billed, and names you enter there stay out of your Speakers list.

Process your first meeting

  1. Start a new meeting and upload the recording.
  2. Add the agenda: upload it, or type the items.
  3. Check who attended.
  4. When the transcript is ready, check the suggested agenda sections, name the speakers and fix anything the transcript got wrong.
  5. Check the motion list, then generate the minutes.
  6. Edit the draft, check it with Verify, and export it.

Each step has its own chapter in this guide.

Your free meeting

Your first meeting is free and doesn't count against a plan. It includes one draft of the minutes, 20 uses of Add to minutes and 20 Ask AI requests. Because you get one draft, the notice before you generate lists anything still open, like unnamed speakers, unchecked motions or unchecked sections. Finish those first.

Once you subscribe, the free meeting has no limits.

Set up your organization

Before the next meeting, open Settings → Bodies and add each body that meets: the council, the planning commission, and so on. Each body can have its own example minutes, motion rules, how it names people and AI instructions.

Then open Speakers and add the members and staff of each body, with their full names, titles and pronouns. They're listed under Who attended on every new meeting after that. Customers can read Matching your template for how to set these up.

Your plan

Plan and usage shows the hours you've used this billing period. Hours reset with each period, and deleted meetings still count toward them. You can pay by card or bank transfer (ACH), update the payment method, switch plans or cancel there. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the billing period. An ACH payment takes up to four business days to clear before you can process meetings.
