We’ve written minutes for more than 1,500 hours of public meetings.
Since 2021, we’ve turned recordings into minutes for city councils, planning commissions, boards of adjustment and other public bodies in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Florida. Express Transcriber is the tool we built from that work.
Why we built it
We started by writing minutes for clerks ourselves. Every meeting taught us the same lessons. The agenda shapes the minutes. Names have to be right, and every body names people its own way. Every motion, second and vote has to be exact. And a draft is only as good as your ability to check it against the recording.
Express Transcriber puts those lessons into a tool a clerk can use directly. It writes a draft laid out like the minutes your body already adopts, and shows you exactly where to check it against what was said.
